Update from Peru

Some of you maybe have seen the news headlines about landslides in the Cusco area of Peru recently.  We work with farmers in the local area and we’re currently getting in touch with them to get an update from the ground. We will post any news when we receive it.

    I was saddened to hear of the floods and landslides and angry to see that press reports focused almost solely on the ’so called plight’ of tourists in the area who seemed to be angry to be kept waiting to escape and with little focus on those who live there and had to remake their lives and livelihoods.
