Hasta Luego

I’m leaving Cafédirect, so I wanted to write a final blog post to sign off. After a year working here, I’m very sad to be leaving, as I’ve had a great time. I’ve met some amazing people, worked as part of a fabulous team, attended great events (like Fashion Week in Paris, Fairtrade Fortnight and the Hay Festival), spoke to heaps of Friends of Cafédirect and met many of our grower partners.

Without a doubt, one of the most fantastic parts of working at Cafédirect is meeting the passionate and fantastic people who are involved in Cafédirect’s business here in London and overseas.

Because I speak Spanish, I’ve been doubly lucky to get to spend time with some of the growers, whether showing them around London or acting as a translator (such as TasteFair with Victor Salas from Union Majomut -below).

But as I’m not going far, I’ll still be able to enjoy one of the other best things about Cafédirect – Machu Picchu coffee!
