TasteFair may be over, and the coffee roaster packed away, but the show goes on…
On Sunday we took to the streets; starting in Bethnal Green one sunny morning driving merrily towards the boulevards of Paris – what better way to spend a weekend?!

The reason for this impromptu Road Trip?
To serve Cafédirect’s finest to the crème de la crème of the fashion world – at Stella McCartney’s Paris fashion show.

Our Espresso bicycle (and Italian barista) were big hit’s backstage fuelling the models, stylists et al with Cafédirect’s finest Organic Espresso coffee – this was needed at 6am on a cold Monday morning!

We also served over 500 Machu Picchu coffees, in about thirty manic minutes to the hordes of Parisians and journalists who had gathered to witness Stella McCartney’s  Autumn range, described by Sir Paul as  “fabulous — very mature and chic, and inventive with those boots,”

For us it was  a slightly surreal experience, and for Cafédirect, great to see another pioneering ethical company strutting their stuff in the limelight!
