Cheap eco chic!

posted at 2:54pm, 13 Feb 09 by Siobhan [ 7 comments ]

Eco design is a hot topic these days. Oliver Heath author of ‘Urban Eco Chic’ will discuss his passion for eco interiors when he’s at TasteFair on Saturday 28th at 3pm. We’ve been trying some cheap urban eco chic ourselves. There’ll be some different concepts in the next few days.

We’ve had a look around the office, and had a go at some eco fashion design ourselves. Here’s Alex modeling ‘Sack and Alpaca’.

It’s certainly eco – but is it chic? What do you think?
Send us your thoughts and send us your own eco designs too!
The best entry will win a free ticket to Oliver Heath’s session.

Solomon, I have news for you; Siobhan has taken your advice onboard and is creating a hessian hat!

I will not be sporting it this time round though – feeling more eco chic in my howies t-shirt http://www.tastefair.co.uk/blog/2009/02/18/is-it-a-yin-yang-is-it-a-coffee-bean/ !

    Watch this space…

And Joanne, the it’s an Alpaca!!

  2. Joanne Byers says:

The llama is chic not sure about the human though

  3. Solomon says:

I think the woolly hat kind of spoils the effect. Maybe one made of hessian to match the tunic would be better? :D

  4. valentine's competition says:

my oh my, hot hot hot! zzzz! REALLY looking forward to seeing more eco chic concepts in the future!

  5. Alex says:

    hello admirer!
I will be wearing it to the next Swaparama at Favela Chic http://www.myspace.com/swaparamarazzmatazz – and will swap it for anything else equally eco-chic!

  6. Jeanie says:

I vote yes – I also believe the world would be a much happier place if we all wore outfits like this – world peace could even follow.

  7. a valentine's admirer says:

I don’t think the question should be if it is eco or chic, but is Alex single????? With that outfit, he won’t be for long.
